Brief History. In the 1300s, Lithuania's empire stretched to Belarus and the Ukraine. By the end of the 18th century, Lithuania had been subsumed into Russia. Lithuanians supported the anti-Russian rebellions that arose in 1830 and 1863. The Russians responded by trying to erase the Lithuanian national identity but the people resisted and preserved a strong (if somewhat hidden) identity based on ethnicity, religion, and language. In September 1991, the USSR conceded and recognized Lithuania as an independent country.
Hello, I am Shakil Huq. Welcome to my site of excitement and lucrative world of currency. I have created this site to share my hobbies.
I’m a very passionate guy who works very hard to get the good results. Over the last decade I have travelled various places across the world to collect and research on foreign currency. I adore and am proud of my collections.
It’s not an easy job, night after night I have worked round the clock to get to where I am now. Please take a look at what I have tried and achieved with more details and information I have added.
If you have any question, please feel free to email me.

I have a 1992 1 talona and
a 1994 1 litas bill.
1. What would be the approximate value in US$ of the above two banknotes that I have?
2. I wondered if you would have any Lithunia 0.10 Lithuanian banknotes that might be for sale as shown.
3. Is the talona like a centime (1/100) of the value of a litas?
Thank you for your interest
